Floor Lamp is an R.C. Gorman bronze from an edition of 1. Cast bronze gave R.C. Gorman a way to give his beloved figures physical presence — the same sweeping forms of his drawings, rendered in metal and issued in limited editions.
The piece is catalogued by the gallery with the details shown above, and its imagery reflects the themes collectors associate with Gorman’s work — the draped figure, the desert light, and the quiet dignity of his subjects. Cast bronzes sit well on pedestals, mantels, and entry tables, where the piece can be walked around and enjoyed in the round. For collectors building around R.C. Gorman originals and fine editions — or the broader tradition of Southwestern art — this bronze is a natural fit.
The gallery ships with care and can provide further photographs and condition details for this piece on request.
