The Earth Mother poster reproduces one of R.C. Gorman’s celebrated images for the gallery’s poster program. The artwork: A Navajo mother kneels over her child among saguaros at golden sunset. Printed as a well-produced reproduction, the poster brings the composition to collectors at its most accessible, and its standard proportions make framing simple.
As gallery merchandise, the poster reproduces Gorman’s imagery rather than serving as an original artwork. It suits living rooms, offices, dorms, and gifts for fans of Southwestern art and Native American art.
