The Mother and Child poster belongs to the gallery’s poster program, reproducing one of R.C. Gorman’s tender mother-and-child images for collectors at their most accessible. Printed as a well-produced reproduction in standard proportions, it frames simply and brings Gorman’s imagery home to living rooms, offices, and dorms.
As gallery merchandise, the poster reproduces the artist’s imagery rather than serving as an original artwork. It makes an easy gift for fans of Southwestern art and Native American art.
